Drew and I met back in May of 2018. In true Gen Z style, he slid into my DM’s on Instagram and asked me for my number. From there Drew and I got to know each other over the course of about a month, but the timing in our lives pushed us to go our separate ways. Deep in my heart I knew he was the right person, but it wasn’t God’s timing.

Fast forward to December of 2022, our mutual friends were having a Christmas party and trying to secretly get us together. We both knew each other were going to be there and were eager to come face to face again after 4 years. After the awkward hello’s, we slowly began to pick up right where we left off. The connection between us never faded. The day after the party Drew texted me and asked to take me on a date and from then on the rest is history…

Drew asked me to be his girlfriend on December 21st, 2022 and it has been the happiest time of our lives. We spent the first year of dating traveling, trying new foods, hunting, attending lots of hog games, and just enjoying each other’s company. We quickly became best friends and over the course of the year he became the love of my life.

April 26th, 2024, Drew asked me to marry him and it was the easiest yes of my life! He is truly my soulmate and the best person I have ever met. We both truly believe that God’s timing is perfect and he brought us back together again when it was perfect in his plan.
